This project began as part of an exercise in class, in the postgraduate I did a few years ago. The exercise consisted of presenting a fashion collection. The concept I worked with was "playing with dolls" Dressing them up, making their hair, dressing them with accessories, etc. In this first chapter I am showing the models, the dolls. I chose pencil to draw them because it is the best basic technique, the beginning of every project. Pencil is what we "dress" afterwards with paint or color. I also drew the models without clothes to dress them later. The first three photos are three of the six models I made. I like to overdo some features and I try that drawings express feelings, emotions or movement.
Éste proyecto empezó como parte de un ejercicio en clase, en el posgrado que hice hace unos años. El ejercicio consistía en presentar una colección de moda. El concepto con el que la trabajé fue el "jugar con muñecas" Vestirlas, peinarlas, vestirlas con accesorios, etc. En este primer capítulo muestro a las modelos, las muñecas. Escogí el lápiz para dibujarlas porque es la mejor técnica base, el principio de todo proyecto. El lápiz es a quién vestimos después con pintura o color. De igual manera dibujé a las modelos sin ropa para vestirlas luego. Las tres primeras fotos son tres de las seis modelos que hice. Me gusta exagerar algunos rasgos y que los dibujos expresen sentimientos, emociones o movimiento.

The following photos are some that I shared on Instagram, and they are from the work in progress of sketches of the Second Collection. In Chapter 2 I will dress these dolls. Those of the First Collection (see three models above) have already been published on the website, because it was part of the exercise in class that is finished, but I will post some dresses from the Second Collection. But the thing does not end here because I want to continue playing with them, dressing them in a thousand ways, there will be more surprises later!.
Las siguientes fotos son algunas que compartí en Instagram, y son del trabajo en proceso de los bocetos de la segunda Colección. En el capítulo 2 vestiré a las muñecas. Las de la primera Colección (ver las tres modelos de arriba) ya están publicadas en la página web desde hace un tiempo, porque fue parte del ejercicio en clase que ya acabó, pero publicaré algunos vestidos de la segunda Colección. Pero como no acaba la cosa aquí porque me interesa seguir jugando con ellas, vistiéndolas de mil maneras, habrán más sorpresas más adelante!
