Happy to share this image and news. I'm the happy winner of the first prize of Terrassa Poster design contest 2017.

In this article in addition to sharing the news, I wanted to explain the meaning of the illustration. The images show the finished design and illustration, and a fragment of the newspaper from the day after the awards ceremony. The news was published in the newspaper Diario de Terrassa.

The title of this work is "Feminidades diversas" (Feminitats Diverses" in Catalan) and covers everything I wanted to say with the illustration.

I wanted to use the analogy of women and flowers to represent diversity in women. Beauty and diversity. 
And adding to this diversity, I wanted to point out that new women, new feminisms are becoming visible, and as part of the feminine gender, they must be included in the International Women's Day. The Flower Mask is the representation of a new way of seeing through the classic idea of a woman. On the other hand, I would like to stress that machismo tends to despise what is not "right or normal": (a man cannot be feminine, a woman cannot wear a moustache and be beautiful).

Feliz de contar que gané el primer premio del concurso de carteles de Terrassa 2017. En este artículo a demás de compartir la noticia, quería explicar el significado de la ilustración. Las imágenes muestran el diseño e ilustración acabados, y un fragmento del periódico del día después de la entrega de premios. La noticia salió en el Diario de Terrassa.

El título abarca todo lo que quería representar con la ilustración. "Feminidades diversas" (Feminitats Diverses") 

Estamos acostumbrados a la analogía de la mujer y las flores y quería aprovechar esa idea para representar la diversidad en las mujeres. Belleza y diversidad. Y añadiendo a esa diversidad quería señalar que nuevas mujeres, nuevos feminismos están siendo visibles y siendo también parte del género femenino, deben ser incluidas en el día señalado, en el día Internacional de la Mujer. Una nueva manera de ver (máscara de flores) a través de la clásica idea de mujer. Lo opuesto: El machismo tiende a despreciar lo que no es "correcto o normal": (un hombre no puede ser femenino, una mujer no puede llevar bigote y ser bella)
